AI School Project
A school shaped by AI, but centered on human growth.
The long-term CHAI Education vision is not an automated school. It is a humane school model where AI supports mastery, practice, feedback, accessibility, and operations while humans lead mentorship, judgment, care, and civic formation.
Design principles
Students learn with AI, about AI, and against AI.
The school model is built around both capability and critique. Students should learn how to use AI well, understand its limits, and preserve the human capacities that cheap output cannot replace.
- Human mentorship remains central.
- Mastery matters more than seat time.
- AI supports practice, feedback, access, and reflection.
- Projects, portfolios, and oral defense reveal learning.
- Seminars protect civic, ethical, and humanistic reasoning.
- Privacy, bias, and efficacy audits are routine.
